  • Yes, PRX-T33 Perfect Intense Liquid is safe to use on clients aged 5 and upwards:

    •5-12 years: scars (chicken pox, impetigo)

    •12-25 years: a substitute for facial cleansing (smoothes epidermis and facilitates the removal and pustules), stretch marks

    •25-35 years: stretch marks

    •35-45 years: beautification of the face, of the body, helps prevention of skin aging, sagging breast skin

    •> 45 years: hypotonic skin, sagging breast skin - Always suit the application technique to the type of skin, and monitor the skin's reaction during the application.

  • A face and neck application takes around 20 minutes, including pre-and post-application.

  • Immediately after the application the skin will look brighter and feel smoother and firmer; there may be some redness or light flaking, but these will recede in the following days. After the full cycle, the skin’s texture will be more even and the pores and fine wrinkles will be less visible. The overall appearance of the skin will be rejuvenated and fresher.

  • The side effects of PRX Derm Perfexion are minimal, especially compared with other skin peels. Immediately following the procedure, your skin may be warm, reddened, and slightly inflamed for a few hours. Unlike chemical and laser peels, your skin is significantly less likely to peel, but some peeling does happen, especially in areas where the skin is thick. Areas where the skin is sensitive (like the skin around the eyes) may experience some mild swelling. All side effects of PRX Derm Perfexion improve within a few days to a week.

  • The number of treatment sessions needed will vary depending on the desired goal and what skin condition is being addressed.

    Specifically, your provider may recommend the following PRX Derm Perfexion treatment plans:

    For general improvement in skin appearance, tightening, reversing photoaging, or improving skin tone – 1 session a week for three to four weeks

    Hyperpigmentation, freckling, and dark spots – 1 session a month until desired results are achieved

    Indented scars – weekly sessions until the appearance and texture of scars improve

    Stretch marks – 1 session a week for 3 to 10 weeks or until the desired results are achieved

    Acne and acne scarring – 1 session a week for 3 to six weeks

    For some conditions like scarring and stretch marks, one course of treatment should be permanent. For the treatment of acne, chronic skin conditions, and general improvement in skin health and appearance, a series of PRX Derm Perfexion treatment sessions should be repeated at least once a year. During your introductory consultation visit, your provider will create a customized treatment plan to address your unique situation.
