What is Daxxify and how does it work?
Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) is an FDA-approved neuromodulator made by Revance. Like other injectables in this category, it works by quieting the small muscles that create expression lines, so the skin above them looks smoother. When a licensed RN places a few precise injections, the treated muscle relaxes and the lines that form when you frown begin to soften.
What sets Daxxify apart is how it is formulated. It uses a peptide to help the product stay active longer, which is why it is described as a longer-lasting option. For many people, results last around six months, and longer for some. That can mean two treatments a year instead of three or four.
